**FROM THE PRESIDENT**
I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the winners of each division. After 19 matches spanning 8 months, we have emerged with 5 incredibly competitive divisions, each decided by a mere 5 points or less. THAT is what defines a truly competitive league! The excitement was palpable right down to the final night, with many of the teams in the hunt actively scoreboard watching.
As we close the chapter on another season, I can confidently say it has been an exceptional one. When I look back at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), we were in a strong position, and I’m thrilled to say we are now even better!
Together, we've tackled challenges and are committed to addressing additional opportunities for growth over the summer. This is the perfect time to add more teams, sponsors, venues, and—most importantly—players! With everyone’s help, we are poised to strengthen our place within the community.
Let’s seize the opportunity to become ambassadors for the sport and our league. Share your experiences by spreading the word to your friends, family, and co-workers. As we've witnessed over the past few years with our round-robin playoff format, the competition is fierce, yet the fun is undeniable!
I am truly excited about our upcoming banquet - an incredible celebration that never fails to unite us. Also, if you’ve not had enough darts, you won’t want to miss John’s Monday Night Blind Draw Tournaments this summer! He’ll kick things off this Monday at RCL #530 on Marsland Drive, and these events will continue until July, when we’ll move to the Naval Association. This switch not only honours our longstanding loyal venues but also gives the 530 a wee bit of a break so they can vacation as well before we invade their legion again in the fall.
Thank you for your unwavering support of the league, the venues, your teams and of course, your captains.
I hope to see all of you at the banquet!
Steve
